History has been made with VIP Fitness Club in Laos opening its doors with Les Mills programs included in its timetable.

History has been made with VIP Fitness Club in Laos opening its doors on the 9th of January 2022, with Les Mills programs such as BODYBALANCE®, BODYCOMBAT® and BODYPUMP® included in its timetable.

Bunruan Banthaowong, General Manager of the country’s very first and only fitness facility to offer these classes to its members said:

“Les Mills programs are the most popular group fitness workouts in the world, so we’re really excited to be the first and only fitness facility in Laos offering these scientifically-designed classes to our members. We’ll evaluate feedback from our members every three months, to monitor how well the Les Mills programs are going.”

“We choose to work with Les Mills Asia Pacific because Les Mills sets the international standard for group fitness.”

Despite having opened its doors just last month, VIP Fitness Club members are already responding positively to the club’s launch. Member, Arnaud Phommasone, for example, shared a post online that read:

‘VIP Fitness is by far the best gym I’ve ever been so far around the world. You can tell people how built the gym paid attention to little details… the service is excellent, staff smiles and greet you without being too chatty… group classes are heavily inspired from Les Mills… benches are cleaned as soon as you finish using it. Lao gym should follow the trend; small things make huge difference.’

Ryan Hogan, Chief Executive Officer of Les Mills Asia Pacific says:

“2021 was a challenging time due to COVID-19 lockdowns – Laos included – so, we’re ecstatic to welcome VIP Fitness Club into the Les Mills Asia Pacific family. We’re especially excited that they’ve finally been able to open after the ongoing delays caused by the pandemic.”

Laos joins Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Maldives, Guam and Papua New Guinea, to become the 14th country that falls into Les Mills Asia Pacific’s jurisdiction.

To help facilities like VIP Fitness Club, future-proof themselves against future lockdowns, Les Mills has developed the Ultimate Group Fitness Solution. This solution ensures clubs can cater to the new needs of members, such as their desire to work out both in-club and at home, in a 60:40 split (Les Mills 2021 Global Fitness Report).
