Fitness Australia Business Member and 2020 Award Finalist Aquafit Health Fitness Wellbeing, received a “Gold Standard” acknowledgement following a recent NSW Health COVID-19 compliance inspection earlier this week. Aquafit is a multi-purpose fitness & aquatic facility located in South West Sydney,

The NSW Health Officer commended Aquafit on the COVID-19 procedures and protocols which had been implemented. It was clear, she stated, that Aquafit was “Gold Standard” in the industry.

In the months prior to re-opening on July 1, the Aquafit team developed a comprehensive strategy to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their members and team. A COVID-19 Safety plan was developed – which includes initiatives on risk management, safety, physical distancing, cleaning, and disinfecting protocols. In addition, all staff have completed COVID-19 infection control online training.
