20 locally owned and operated F45s have marked their future by joining Fitness Australia.

As South Australian gyms continue to their road to recovery, 20 locally owned and operated F45s have marked their future with a commitment to improved standards of service delivery and excellence by joining peak industry association, Fitness Australia.

F45 Port Adelaide and Port Lincoln owner, Dane Brooks championed the group industry membership following the ongoing support and guidance his business and other South Australian F45 owners received from Fitness Australia during COVID-19.

Mr Brooks said:

“This year has been really challenging for the fitness industry with constant changes, restrictions and protocols. Fitness Australia has provided robust support through COVID-19, helping us to understand what was happening, what we needed to be aware of and overall give us a clearer picture of the whole situation.”

“As a small business owner, it can be hard to make sense of the all restriction but the information provided by Fitness Australia ensured we were going above and beyond to provide a COVID-Safe gym and give the peace of mind to our members that it was safe to exercise.

“We know a lot goes on behind the scenes to put the best interests of Fitness Australia members and the industry first. By Joining Fitness Australia, we are part of the industry’s united voice as they continue to work with governments across Australia to get gyms classified as an essential service.”

Fitness Australia CEO Barrie Elvish said he was thrilled to welcome F45 South Australian franchisees as group business members and they would work together to raise the bar even higher for industry excellence and quality assurance.

Mr Elvish said:

“By joining Fitness Australia, these F45 franchisees are demonstrating their commitment to their exercise professionals with continued learning and development to raise the bar when it comes to delivering continued service excellence and providing quality assurance.”

“We are focused on raising the standards across the industry and the support we have received from fitness operators has been fantastic. As people start getting back into a regular gym routine, this renewed focus will drive greater consumer confidence within their own facility as well as in the fitness industry overall.”
