The brand new event, the FILEX Virtual Series, will tackle the hottest and most sought-after topics over three days from 13 to 15 October 2021.

FILEX, Australia’s leading provider of fitness education events and expos, today proudly announces another industry first in the FILEX Virtual Series. The online only event will tackle the fitness industry’s hottest and most sought-after topics over three days, 13 – 15 October 2021, with each day dedicated to a specific and highly relevant theme.

Designed for personal trainers, instructors, coaches, fitness business operators and other fitness professionals the FILEX Virtual Series will be all about actionable and practical takeaways.

Wednesday 13 October will focus solely on the huge opportunity for trainers to improve the lives of current and potentially new clients with special conditions and chronic illnesses.

On Thursday 14 October, the industry will join together to take a deep dive into mental health and everything fitness professionals need to know about this complex and pertinent topic.

Finally, and most timely, Friday 15 October will be all about future-proofing any fitness business – what opportunities there are with business technology and data and what pitfalls to avoid.

These topics were carefully selected after listening to the industry during a very challenging eighteen months and FILEX believes these are the areas where most value can be added for the fitness industry.

Anthony Reed, General Manager of FILEX, said:

“We knew we wanted to deliver an event that was different from anything we’d done before and we knew we wanted to zone in on key areas that are game-changers for our community. Once we had agreed a format with industry leaders and our key partners, including Fitness Australia, the topics themselves almost chose themselves. Education around mental health, special populations and making sure businesses and professionals are ready to innovate for an uncertain future… right now there are no topics more important than those. And we want to go a little deeper and really provide our attendees with valuable knowledge and actionable insights using the latest evidence in these key areas.”

In another first for FILEX, attendees will be able to purchase individual session tickets, along with full day or three day passes, to offer ultimate flexibility and value for money during these tumultuous months.

Reed continued:

“Right now, we need to make things as easy and as accessible for the industry as we possibly can. We think most people will get incredible value from all three days, but we also appreciate that might not be possible for everyone – so this is about offering choice and flexibility.”

The FILEX Virtual Series will culminate with the presentation of the 2021 Fitness Australia Awards on the afternoon of Friday 15 October with a keynote address from 2021 Wimbledon Champion Dylan Allcott.

Ticket holders, along with the entire fitness community, will be able to grab a ticket to the free-to- attend awards which recognise and celebrate the life-changing work of Fitness Australia members, who encourage more Australians to be more Active, more Often. The awards, a centrepiece to Australia’s fitness industry, will be streamed live rounding out a stellar three day online event.

FILEX Virtual Series runs online, 13-15 October 2021, and tickets are available now from www.filex.com.au.“
