On July 25th and 26th, the inaugural Fitness Industry Technology Summit (FITS) will take place in Sydney. The event will feature 21 digital experts. Seven of these experts are from outside the fitness industry who use technology to analyse consumer behaviour and sharpen their marketing messages. Modelled on the success of overseas ‘tech’ summits this event will deliver the latest content from data and marketing.
Barrie Elvish CEO of Fitness Australia, the peak fitness industry association, believes that rather than floundering on the bleeding edge of commercial survival the FITS event will ensure attendees are on the leading edge of technology and its inherent capabilities.
“We live in a digital world that allows us to make data-driven decisions, with a myriad of communication tools, which is why it’s vital that fitness operators identify and understand the best way to get cut through.”
“Technology and innovation is rampant across the fitness industry which is why we need to get very comfortable with and confident in how we use it to our advantage.”
In the world we now live in there are numerous ways to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of your fitness business through technology. At the Fitness Industry Technology Summit you will see first-hand how much time, energy and resources you can save in your business. Hear from industry experts: Bryan O’Rourke, Sam Mutimer and Alan Leach who will present via video on technology, social media influencers and digital marketing tactics.
Two fitness businesses will also be showcased on how they use technology. Troy Morgan, Director of Willows Health & Fitness in Toowoomba and Adam Skinner, Chief Data & Technology Officer from the Fitness & Lifestyle Group.
Fitness Australia is a supporting partner of this event, and is excited to be offering business members a $100 discount on tickets!
