During COVID-19, Fitness Australia has been consistently advocating on behalf of the industry to get gyms to reopen and to promote the mental and physical health benefits of keeping active and exercising regularly. Putting the wellbeing and interest of our members first remains Fitness Australia’s top priority, which is why the following membership offer has been extended to provide financial assistance when it matters.
CEO Barrie Elvish said the impact of COVID-19 had been devastating for the fitness industry and as the peak industry association it was important to support members as much as possible.
Mr Elvish said:
“The fitness industry has been impacted considerably throughout COVID-19, our Victorian members, in particular, are still feeling the full effects of closures. Fitness Australia is not only committed to advocating on behalf of the industry but also on supporting members with financial concessions where we can, to help them get back on track.”
“Our commitment to our members and the broader community has never been stronger – the vital role gyms and fitness facilities play in our community cannot be underestimated and we need to ensure these businesses can survive these difficult times.”
