With many health and fitness facilities across Australia now reopen, Fitness Australia has launched an EOFY business offer to give fitness businesses access to a variety of initiatives and benefits to help them get back on track.

Business membership offer ends June 30

New fitness businesses who join Fitness Australia before June 30 will receive 15 months membership for the price of 12 months and pay nothing during the first three months. Existing Fitness Australia members can also access the same offer if they refer another business who signs up before June 30.

Fitness Australia CEO Barrie Elvish said the offer was designed to give businesses a kick start during the recovery phase without impacting them financially.

Mr Elvish said.

“Fitness Australia is committed to empowering fitness businesses to deliver excellence and ensuring a business is the best it can be. Delivering safe and quality fitness services to the community has never been more important. As an industry achieving consistently high standards and working together to deliver service excellence will help the fitness industry get back on track post COVID-19.”

“As a business member, there are a number of benefits on offer including industry leading representation with government, health and the wider community on important issues that impact fitness businesses. Over the past few months Fitness Australia has been working tirelessly to ensure the fitness industry has not been forgotten during COVID-19 closures and restrictions.”

With more than 2,000 business members and more than 20,000 total members Fitness Australia is the leading industry body for gyms, outdoor bootcamps, boutique studios, multi-service facilities, personal trainers and thousands of exercise professionals.

Belgravia Leisure’s Loftus Recreation Centre, Centre Manager Andrew NG from Western Australia said Fitness Australia’s work in the local community has had a massive benefit to his business.

Mr NG said:

“I would definitely recommend a membership with Fitness Australia, the service is amazing. The leadership is continuing to push the importance and professionalism of the fitness industry to the local community, which has created a lot more confidence in the sector.”

“The relationship we’ve built with our state and regional managers is great, we have direct communications and support.”

The industry and business support was echoed by Actual Fitness owner Michael Yarnold from New South Wales who said he’d never been prouder to be a member of Fitness Australia.

Mr Yarnold said:

“Throughout COVID-19, Fitness Australia supported me immensely. If anything, their work has brought our industry closer together. As a Fitness Australia member, it felt like a call to arms, and it was comforting to know that we are all in this together.”

“Their constant communication about what was happening in each state and what the rules were for each discipline helped to cut through the inconsistencies and make things clear.”
