The Board of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) has welcomed the Federal Government’s $54.5 million investment in high performance sport, announced today by Minister for Sport, Senator the Hon Richard Colbeck.
As part of the Liberal and Nationals Government goal to get more Australians, more active more often, new movement guidelines have been launched to help to parents, carers, educators, children and young people create healthy daily practices.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Marise Payne, and the Minister for Sport, Bridget McKenzie, has launched Australia’s new Sports Diplomacy 2030 strategy.
