The Lifestyle Suite announces talent selection for the 2022 intake of ‘The Academy’ program.

The ability to understand and decipher health and wellbeing information has never been more important than it is today. Health now sits firmly at the top of the agenda, and with it a need for qualified, credible reputable experts to provide advice and support to Australians that they can turn to and trust amidst all the misinformation.

To help combat these challenges, Australia’s leading health and lifestyle talent and content agency, The Lifestyle Suite, has today revealed the exceptional line-up of talent selected for the 2022 intake of their Academy program.

First announced in 2019, The Academy program has been designed to cultivate the expert health and lifestyle talent of tomorrow. In an environment dominated by information overload, The Academy seeks to develop the skillset of an exclusive pool of up-and-coming talent with specialist qualifications, skills and experience to increase the representation of credible voices within the Australian media landscape.

The announcement of the 2022 intake follows the success of the first three cohorts of the program (2020 and 2021 February & September) which has seen expert participants not only develop their communication skills, but also access media opportunities including partnering on campaigns with some of Australia’s leading brands and signing publishing and podcast deals.

The latest cohort spans a national footprint and includes a high calibre selection of experts representing verticals as diverse as general and lifestyle medicine, psychology, psychiatry and dietetics.

Founder and Director of The Lifestyle Suite, Simone Landes, said that the selection process this year was even more stringent to ensure that the standard of applicants remained high.

Landes said:

“The Academy team have spent a great deal of time assessing the range of applications to identify the potential expert talent of tomorrow. This cohort represents a handpicked group of experts who are qualified in an impressive range of specialities.”

The Academy is The Lifestyle Suite’s way of sharing its knowledge and contacts to ensure Australia remains on top when it comes to health and lifestyle information. The aim of the six-month program is to empower the selected talent by providing access to industry leaders within the media, as well as specialist education in brand management; giving participants the tools and support they need to build their brand and grow their profile.

The Lifestyle Suite already represents some of Australia’s best-known health and lifestyle experts, including Dietitian & Nutritional Scientist Dr Joanna McMillan; Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr Nikki Stamp; Psychologist, Author and Speaker Dr Tim Sharp; GP’s Dr Ginni Mansberg & Dr Preeya Alexander; Paralympian Ellie Cole; Rally Driver Molly Taylor and Interior Design and Renovator duo Michael and Carlene Duffy.
