The Coeliac Australia team are working hard in anticipation of a return to live Gluten Free Expo events in 2021. Our top priority however, is the safety and wellbeing of our members, visitors, exhibitors and staff. Due to the ongoing concerns presented by COVID-19 and uncertainty associated with interstate travel affecting many exhibitors, we have unfortunately made the decision to postpone our first 2021 event – the Brisbane Gluten Free Expo in March – which is now rescheduled to the new date of 10 & 11 July 2021.

While subject to continued monitoring of the ever-changing landscape, Coeliac Australia is aiming to bring you the excitement of the much-loved Gluten Free Expos throughout 2021 on the following dates:

Sydney 19 & 20 June – Royal Randwick Racecourse
Brisbane 10 & 11 July – Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
Melbourne 2 & 3 October – Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre
Perth 13 & 14 November – Claremont Showground

Bringing you safe events – with the wellbeing of event attendees top-of-mind, some changes in how we deliver the Gluten Free Expos in 2021 will occur. These include the introduction of COVID-19 protocols such as handwashing and/or sanitising stations, new product sampling protocols (yes, you’ll still be able to enjoy tasting product samples!) and electronic ticketing to meet contact tracing requirements.
