The fifth edition of Let’s Move for a Better World is about to launch: the social campaign leverages TECHNOGYM technology and connected equipment to motivate people to move more and more regularly, and share their results with the global Technogym community world-wide – which today includes about 40 million people in 100 countries.
The campaign’s mission is to spread awareness of the benefits of regular exercise through a fun and exciting challenge that also promotes socialisation. From 12 to 31 March, the members of the participating fitness and wellness clubs around the world will be asked to join forces to donate their exercise and promote the Wellness lifestyle in their local towns or communities, thought a challenge based on MOVES (Technogym’s unity of measure for movement).
By using connected TECHNOGYM equipment, participants can measure their training efforts and donate their MOVEs on MyWellness Cloud, TECHNOGYM’s cloud-based digital platform. Upon reaching predefined movement goals, each Club can win a Technogym product to donate to any non-profit association of its choice which operates in fighting obesity and sedentary lifestyles.
Download the Technogym App or head over to Technogym.com to locate your closest facility through the Gym Finder and start exercising: it’s going to be good for you and for others. The more active the clubs, the more their collected Moves… and the bigger their donation!!
For over 30 years, Technogym has been committed to promoting the Wellness lifestyle as an opportunity for all social players: Governments, which thanks to prevention-oriented policies can lower the costs of health care, enterprises, which by investing on wellness programs for their employees can maximise the productivity and creativity of their staff, and citizens who, thanks to regular exercise, can live longer, happier lives.
Besides having an important social impact, ‘Let’s Move for a Better World’ is also a very effective tool for expanding the business of individual clubs.
The results of previous editions have shown an increase in attendance figures at fitness centres and an increase in the number of members, thanks both to the campaign’s web-based and social media-based communication strategy, and to the viral effect created by members who share their training experience online.
